The following steps are for setting up your iPad to work with your QRS unit. If it has already been set up, your iPad is already ready to use.

Please ensure that you have installed QRS Controller on your iPad. If you have not already done so, click here to find out how.

1. Switch on your QRS unit. The green light on top will start flashing.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on the iPad, if it isn’t already on.
3. Start the QRS Controller app.
4. Tap on Settings at the bottom of the screen.
5. Wait for the  icon to appear next to QRS.
6. Tap on Save to save the connection between the QRS unit and the iPad.
7. Your iPad can now automatically connect to the QRS unit when you wish to use it.

Please note that only one iPad may be connected to the QRS unit at any time, so you should use the same iPad to control your QRS unit at all times.

You can control your QRS unit from the iPad by downloading the QRS Controller app from the App Store.

1. Open App Store from the home screen.
2. Search for QRS Controller.
3. Look for the app among the results. The app icon is the same as the QRS logo on your QRS unit.
4. Tap GET to download the app.
5. Your iPad is now ready to start connecting to your QRS unit.

Please note that you must have an Apple ID in order to download from the App Store. Click here to learn how to create an Apple ID if you do not have one.

You can control your QRS unit from the iPad by installing QRS Controller from the App Store. However, you need to have an Apple ID in order to do so. If you do not already have one, you can create one for free as follows:

How to create a new Apple ID on your iPhone or iPad in iOS 10.3 or later

1. Open the App Store app.
2. Search for QRS Controller.
3. Choose the app which has the QRS logo (same as on the QRS unit).
4. Tap GET, then tap it again to get it.
5. When asked to sign in with an Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions. When you’re asked for payment information, choose None.
7. After you enter your information, you’re asked to verify your Apple ID by email. You must verify your Apple ID before you can begin using it.

Please make sure you use a correct email address, or you will be unable to install the QRS Controller app.
